Blair Gilmour, P. Eng.

Blair Gilmour, a professional engineer, has over 30 years of hands on experience covering all aspects of the real estate industry in Canada including development and construction experience overseas. His responsibilities, have covered the full spectrum of project development from identifying and evaluating project opportunities to organizing and coordinating Client user groups and managing large and diverse Project Teams. Blair has assisted many Clients in the evaluation of development concepts and the establishment of success oriented project delivery strategies in the implementation of many complex development projects.

Larry O’Brecht

Larry is a founding principal of OPM. His extensive experience in Project development and construction spans the last 35 years. Larry's well recognized project management capability is strongly rooted in his broad career development ranging from on-site construction management duties as a construction superintendent, day-to-day project responsibility as an on-site project manager and overall project responsibility on a multi project basis as a principal in OPM since 1987. Larry's project experience ranges across most asset classes and includes institutional, commercial, industrial and health care Projects.

Peter McCarthy

Peter, as a founding principal of OPM, has been very active in the construction and development industry over the past 35 years. His experience includes on-site construction management responsibility at the superintendent and project manager level with a major Canadian general contractor, development management responsibilities at executive level for major Canadian development companies and day-to-day project management responsibility with OPM. Peter's project experience ranges across most asset classes and includes institutional, commercial, retail, industrial and health care projects.

John Southwood. P. Eng., PMP

John joined OPM in 2008. He has worked in increasingly challenging senior project management roles throughout his career with direct responsibility for leading projects and interfacing with project steering committees and user groups, consultant teams, constructors and trade contractors. John is a highly skilled and capable project management professional. He is very experienced in motivating project teams while continually ensuring timely and cost effective project implementation. John understands the technical and operational complexities of design and construction and the interrelationship of disciplines in the successful delivery of projects. John is results driven and he is an excellent communicator with proven interpersonal and organizational skills.
