  • $48M 117,000 GFA multi-use facility including lecture theatres, classrooms, café, faculty offices and 400 space underground parking structure;
  • OPM was retained by the University of Toronto to manage the Project throughout the Pre-construction, Construction and Post Construction phases of the Project;
  • To expedite the Project schedule, OPM separated the Project into its two significant entities – the parking garage and the main building permitting construction to begin on the foundations and parking garage while the construction documents were being completed for the main building;
  • This necessitated separate tendering of the two phases and separate general contracts. The handoff from the parking garage contractor to the building contractor occurred on schedule;
  • The Project was completed within schedule and budget.
