- Preparation of a detailed development analysis for a 1,100,000
GFA courthouse facility consisting of two new towers and the
upgrade of existing buildings on a prominent two block site in downtown
Calgary;
- OPM was retained as project manager to assist the consortium
initially with the preparation of its EOI, RFQ and RFP responses
to the Government of Alberta’s multi-stage evaluation process
and to manage
the implementation of the project through its construction and
post construction phases if the consortium was successful in its RFP bid;
- In proceeding with the Project, the GoA proposed a Design-Build-Finance-Maintain delivery to expedite the timely and cost efficient completion
of the project;
- The concept design for the new facility accommodated programmatic
requirements over a 25 year planning cycle by promoting both flexibility
and adaptability in planning and by integrating technology.
