- OPM was retained by GWL Realty Advisors to manage the multi-phase
Master Plan development of this 26 acre corporate business park
in Markham, ON;
- The phase I building occupied by GEAC was pre-existing;
- The construction of Phases II through IV representing 450,000
sq. ft. of class “A” office space including a 1,050
stall parking garage and associated landscaping is now complete
at a total hard cost of $84,200,000;
- OPM assisted GWL through all phases of this complex development,
assembled the Project Teams by project phase; managed the design
process, budgeting, value analysis trade tendering and negotiation,
project construction including in most cases the construction of
tenant interior improvements, tenant move-in and project close
out;
- The development of Oakland Corporate Centre has established a
prominent western gateway for the Town of Markham. This development
is the Canadian corporate home of international technology based
companies such as GEAC, Sun Microsystems and InSystems.
