- $72M 350,000 GFA multi-use facility including 80,000 sGFA high service genomics laboratory space, lecture theatres
(1,700 seats), classrooms, faculty offices and originally planned for the future provisioning
and relocation of the Intensive Care facilities from the adjacent
McMaster Medical Centre;
- OPM was retained by McMaster University to manage this project
through the extensive Pre-construction stage and start up of construction
activity;
- OPM managed all user committees and the development of functional
programming, assembled the Project Team including construction
manager; managed the design process, budgeting, value analysis,
trade tendering and negotiation and construction start-up;
- The project was successfully completed on budget and schedule.
