- Design and construction of a $27M 280-bed “suite style” residence
and 350 seat food service facility;
- OPM retained by McMaster University to take over management of
a project that had been designed and tendered and was substantially
over-budget and behind schedule;
- Over five weeks OPM conducted value analysis sessions that generated
$5 million in construction cost savings;
- To expedite the Project OPM oversaw excavation and site services
relocation while negotiating a contract with a general contractor;
- OPM also assisted McMaster University in the securing of project
financing;
- The Project is complete with students in residence for the September
2003 semester.
