for the Greater Peterborough Region DNA Cluster is driven by DNA
research, as led by Trent University, and the commercialization
potential of such research. The foundation of the DNA Cluster
lies in the strengths of its primary partners. The Natural Resources
DNA Profiling and Forensic Centre is a laboratory partnership
between Trent and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. This
partnership has considerable expertise in DNA and forensic research
and services in support of natural resource management and conservation

College with campuses in both Peterborough and Lindsay is also
a significant partner in this project through the joint training
of future skilled technicians in the teaching facilities contained
within the DNA Cluster Project and the application of Flemming's
expertise in Geomatics and Global Information Systems (“GIS”)
